2nd ultrasound

Yesterday we had our second ultrasound Baby A measured 8w6d and Baby B measured 9w0d which is right on target as they were 9 weeks 1 day. There was no bleeding around either baby and both heartbeats were strong. We were able to see their arm buds and leg buds and even a little movement and of course their little hearts flickering. That is so cool! We have officially been released from our specialist and will be seeing our regular OB in a few weeks. We are extremely thankful that each baby is doing well and are getting very excited about the idea of having twins. Melinda is feeling great with very little morning sickness but is very tired. We look forward to keeping you updated.

First ultrasound pictures

We had our first ultrasound this morning and were completely shocked when they told us we are expecting twins. The first baby's heart rate was about 120 and it measured 6 weeks and 5 days and the second baby's heart rate was about 170 and it measured 6 weeks 6 days. Everything looks perfect and while we are nervous we feel extremely blessed. We have another ultrasound in 2 weeks and we can't wait to see them again.
