Visiting with friends
Last night we went to our friend Misty's baby shower and got to see a few of my co-workers who haven't seen the babies since they were born it was fun to catch up and visit outside of work. I am embarrased to say I didn't get a picture with the Mommy to be.
Sienna and Alex, it was so nice to have so many extra hands to help with babies. This was the first time I've taken the babies anywhere out in public by myself and having all these experienced mommies around made it so much less stressful.
Sienna
Sienna is growing like crazy and has also moved up to 3 month clothes although we can still squeeze into some newborn. She is smiling like crazy and so social she can hardly take a bottle some of the time.
Sienna got this adorable outfit from Michelle and I was so excited that she has grown enough to wear it.
We just love her smile and as you can see she adores her daddy.
Recently Sienna has given up her pacifier and traded it in for a new model, her thumb. We haven't decided how we feel about it yet, it is more convenient because it is always readily available and we don't have to get up in the middle of the night to find it but think it might be a tougher habit to break down the road, we'll have to see how it goes.
Landon
I can't believe how big Landon is getting, he has now outgrown all of his newborn clothes and Tanner was giving me a hard time for squeezing him into them so we had to go on a shopping trip the other day. Landon got lots of cute new things. Here are some recent pictures of the little cutie.
Landon in his adorable overalls, he finally got to wear his first pair of tennis shoes and while they were a real struggle to get on it was worth it to see how cute they were on.
I just love this baseball outfit I bought it years ago for a friends baby shower and thought it was so cute that I kept it just in case I ever had a summer baby boy and here he is.

Caught on tape
I finally got Landon to roll over while I had the camera handy, he didn't cry at all the first 3 times he rolled over but of course as soon as I had the camera ready he cried. This was a week ago and this morning Sienna rolled over a few times but again as soon as I had the camera ready she just laid there and cried so we'll keep trying to catch her.

Two months old already
I can't believe the twins are 2 months old already. On Wednesday they went in for their 2 month check up and I almost fell over when I saw them on the scale. Mr. Landon weighed in at 10 lbs 10 oz and was 22 inches long. Ms. Sienna weighed in at 9 lbs 3 oz and was 22 1/2 inches long. They had to get their immunizations which they handled fairly well they have both been a little fussy the last few days but we're hoping they return to normal by Saturday. They are doing very well sleeping at night progressing to a 6-7 hour stretch followed by a 3-4 hour stretch. They are getting their own little personalities. Sienna is very interactive full of smiles and loves to talk to us. She rarely cries unless she is hungry and is very easy to console. Landon is our strong man he loves to stand up and lay on his tummy and push up. He is much more serious but we are finally able to get the occassional smile out of him. I think he is just taking in his environment. He is still a little fussier than Sienna but loves to cuddle.
I can't believe I have to go back to work next week I have truly enjoyed my time at home with them and will be sad to leave them but I know Tanner will take excellent care of them while I am at work.

Visiting with family
We have been so lucky to have our family so eager to meet these babies that they have traveled from all over this summer. Last week my Grandma Mayne and my Aunt Cindy and Uncle Dick came from Arizona and Colorado to spend a few days with us. It was so nice to have extra hands to hold and feed babies we will truly miss their company and look forward to their next visit.

Grandma Mayne cuddling with Landon. We went to another car show on Sunday and the babies were very well behaved. They were the stars of the car show people even commented that they didn't want to park their cars by them because people were only stopping to admire the babies not their cars. I am amazed at how much attention these babies bring.

Landon's big accomplishment
I would not believe it if I hadn't been there but here's what happened. Last night we were getting ready to leave the house and I had to change both babies well Landon was crying so I put him in his crib while I changed Sienna. Landon is less fussy when he is on his tummy so he was on his tummy but still pretty upset the next thing I knew he was completely quiet I turned around and he had rolled over and was staring up at me like what did I do. He must have either felt a lot better or been confused because he didn't make a peep for 2 hours which is very unlike him. I have no idea when babies are supposed to roll over but I am just not ready for him to be any kind of mobile. So now we really have to watch him. I am keeping my camera handy now hoping to catch him in the act.
Sienna's bath
Sienna has not quite outgrown the sink yet but we thought we'd try her in the spa too. She is just a little too small and slides around a little more but she seems to be ok with it. She does not love it like Landon does and doesn't splash around but I think as she gets a little bigger she will like it more.
