A few new pics

me and great grandpa Woody and Peytan
grandpa and great grandma and Landon

celebrating grandpas birthday at the farm

Tanner and Peytan snuggling on the couch, and we wonder why she doesn't like to sleep in her bed, Daddy is way more fun to snuggle up with

Sweet Peytan in a rare photo

Aunt Sally, Peytan loved her and I loved that she took care of Peytan so I could have a nice nap, help is so appreciated

Uncle Darrel and Peytan, she loved him and the twins especially loved him cause he was so fun to play with

things have been really busy around here, go figure but I have managed to get a few pics of the kids. My Aunt and uncle stopped in for a few days and we had a great visit with them and the kids loved playing with them. Peytan is growing a ton and is already popping out of the newborn clothes that Sienna wore for months. I think she is well over 10 pounds already. She is a great eater, starting to get pretty spitty and sleeps well during the day, she is a night owl like us which would be fine if we didn't have to get up at 8 with the twins. She finally gets settled in around 1 or 2 so we are working hard on keeping her awake more during the day so she'll go to sleep a little earlier but no luck yet apparently she thinks she is in charge and the clock revolves around her (she's right). We got way too lucky with the twins they woke up and ate and went right back to sleep, she wants to visit. The twins are doing well and still in love with their baby sister. Sienna is showing signs of wanting to potty train but I am still trying to hold her off. She now starts pulling at her diaper when she needs to be changed and tonight she pointed at the wipes and diapers and then signed please it was so cute so we'll see we may be getting a potty to see how it goes. Unfortunately I have no idea where to even start and don't have time to read up on a strategy so for now I am just changing her when she asks.

AFAD Parade

We had a great time at the Air Force Appreciation Day parade a few weekends ago, the kids did great and loved the parade and the candy and we had fun being outside in the great weather I haven't been to the parade in a long time and forgot how long it is and how crowded
Sienna's first lollipop, she loved it and her pretty beads

They were so tired they fell asleep as soon as we got back to the car
I know this is a weird picture but this was my favorite entry, The Costco guys were throwing toilet paper instead of candy and boy were people grabbing for it
Landon got a cool Tiger football and we've been practicing for Homecoming next Friday he puts his arms up in the air when we say touchdown it is so cute
Sienna got Tiger pompoms for the game, she too knows what to do for touchdown

after many attempts to get away Carlee made it all the way across the street with Clint in hot pursuit

Sienna had so much fun watching the parade and getting her first taste of candy

Landon preferred to watch from the sidelines with grandma but did like this toythe moms and the newbies Peytan slept the whole time even through the loud sirens I guess she's used to noise from the twins
watching with dad

our friends the Howells came to watch with us and the girls had fun collecting candy and trying to run from their dads

Just a few snapshots of the kids

Looking back I seem to have a ton of pictures of the twins when they were little but I seem to be slacking for Peytan so I'm trying to get better it is hard now because as soon as the twins see the camera they want to play with it and will not sit still for a good picture.
We are all doing well and adjusting nicely, Peytan had a doctors appointment yesterday and weighs 8lbs 7 oz she gained 12 oz in 5 days the nurse said that was the most weight she'd seen a newborn put on in such a short amount of time. I guess my body still thinks it needs to feed twins. So I guess she will be a chunky baby what a change from my petite Sienna.
Although she loves her sister she doesn't really like to hold her, she'll let her sit on her lap for a minute and when she's done she just pushes her away so we have to be right there with her. She loves to just sit on the couch with me while I hold her.
Sienna LOVES her baby sister, she loves to give her kisses and just rest her head by her
Landon is getting more interested in his little sis but still needs to learn gentle hands

Newborn Pictures

We had a horrible experience getting Peytan's newborn pictures done and this is the only one that turned out at all. She was more than cooperative with a very inexperienced photographer.
I just love how alert she is and her smile is so sweet.
