Just a few new pics, I can't believe how big they are getting

First Bites

After getting the okay to start them on solids I finally decided to try it when they woke up from their nap yesterday. Landon woke up first so he got to try it first and he did ok at first he didn't know what to do with the spoon in his mouth and he wasn't sure he liked the texture but in the end he was waving his arms and kicking his legs and opening his mouth when he wanted another bite. I think he did great for his first try so we'll see how he does this afternoon.
No I didn't bother with a bib because he was getting in the tub right after this I will be putting a bib on him from now on though, what a mess.

At this point he still thought his thumb tasted way better
Doesn't he look proud of himself
Sienna truly hated the entire process although she did not cry once she got the most awful look on her face when the spoon approached. I don't think she swallowed a bit of it.

Miss blue eyes before she spit her entire mouthful back at me

Looking adorable even with food all over her mouth, again I didn't bother with a bib because she was getting in the bath right after. I'm not sure a bib would help though since it was all over her pants, shirt and seat. Oh well at least it wipes up easily.

Still not looking too thrilled about her first bites, maybe she'll like it better tonight

Bubbles, Bubbles Everywhere

I read somewhere that babies at this age are fascinated with bubbles and I'm all for a cheap way to entertain them. Here's what they thought of the bubbles
Sienna started out way more interested in sucking on her fingers
And then one landed on her nose and she decided she wanted no part of the bubbles.
Landon on the other hand was fascinated and lovved watching them float around. I can't wait till he starts reaching out to touch them

One landed right on his nose/mouth and stayed for a second he thought that was pretty cool
I just had to take this picture of the twins to show how much different in size they are at 4 months.

4 months

I can hardly believe they are 4 months old already. They are getting so big and more fun by the day. They had their 4 month check-up last Friday and are doing well. Landon weighed 14 lbs 12 oz and was 25 1/4 inches long. He was in the 50th percentile for both which is amazing considering he started in the 10th as a premie, his doctor says the way he is growing he will probably be in the 90th by a year. Oh my goodness and I think he's heavy to tote around now. Sienna weighed 12 lbs 2 oz and was 24 3/4 inches long. She was in the 25th percentile for weight and the 75th for height also amazing considering she was in the 3rd percentile for height when she was born and not even on the growth chart for weight considering her brother she feels like a lightweight. They both got the okay to start cereal whenever we want but so far we are holding off. Landon was also diagnosed with eczema so we are doing what we can to keep his skin well moisturized and are hoping he will outgrow it. He also has a skin discoloration on the top of his head called a mongolian spot that we didn't notice when he was born because of all his dark hair but now that he's balding we can see it. Just kidding about the balding they are both getting their hair back now.
Landon has decided he wants to start rolling over again and is doing quite well. Sienna is also doing well but now prefers to roll from back almost all the way to her stomach.
Tanner bought them this new exersaucer and they love it a new perspective of the world I guess Sienna is so small her tippy toes barely reach but don't try to take her out of it she screams.

Landon a farmer at heart loves anything to do with farm animals

Landon hangin out in his bouncer, he loves this giraffe rattle although I think he threw it right before I took this picture.
Sienna looking so sweet napping in her swing

Landon and his new lovey

Landons favorite new thing is to sit in his bumbo seat while I cook dinner, he is perfectly content to just sit there and watch me
