Sienna is really getting close to crawling, she can now go backwards which is cute but quite frustrating to her so now since she can't figure out how to go forward she is trying out pushing up on her tippy toes and hands. She still doesn't go anywhere but it's pretty funny.

They LOVE to play together

Landon has shared his love for playing in the laundry basket with Sienna. They love to feel the different textures and play peek-a-boo. It actually keeps them entertained for a while now if only they would learn to fold and put away.
Doesn't she look like she's telling him she's the boss I just love how she points her finger at him as if to say if you kick me one more time I'm gonna get you.

Landon thinks her teeth are pretty cool and really wants a pair of his own.

They were playing together so nicely both sitting up till she grabbed him in a headlock and they both fell to the ground. Luckily no one was hurt and no one cried they thought it was really fun.

My little helper. Landon was being fussy the other night refusing to sit in his exersaucer or play on the floor so I could get some things done before getting them ready for bed but he was perfectly happy to sit in the laundry basket while I folded laundry. Who would have guessed?

We got them these little cow outfits a long time ago and I had forgotten about them but I found them the other day and decided to try them on and they just barely still fit them. They are all set to go visit Daddy at the farm.

My sweet sleeping Landon I can't even remember now where we went but he just looked so peaceful when we got home that I had to snap his picture.

Always eating

The twins have been doing so well with their eating that we decided to try some of those puff snacks just a few to keep them busy while we are preparing meals or trying to get something done for a few minutes. Sienna is much more advanced with her coordination so she is getting the hang of picking them up and putting them in her mouth. Landon tries but is not often successful with feeding himself but he is quite good at getting Mom and Dad to feed him when he gets frustrated. They really seem to like the change in texture.
We also tried teething biscuits which Landon can pick up quite well and he seems to like.

Sienna also seems to like the change and gnaws away at her "cookie"

I know it seems strange to see a picture of Tanner in the middle of the baby pictures so here's the story. The other night I made green beans and he thought he would be funny and try to look like a walrus and make me take a picture. I never thought twice about it and just assumed I would delete the picture later. So then the next day I was making dinner so I could go to work and Sienna really wanted me to hold her so I took her in the kitchen with me and sat her on the counter while I was heating up my dinner. She seemed bored so I gave her a green bean to play with and when I looked down at her this is what I saw I swear no prompting...

She is her daddy's girl :)

The twins are 7 months

It is hard to believe that the twins are 7 months already but it's true. They are getting bigger and more fun and interactive everyday and we just love having them in our lives.
Sienna has mastered the skill of sitting up and can now lean forward and get into a crawling position. She can push up to crawl and move back and forth but then ends up going backwards not forwards which is becoming more frustrating to her by the day but she's sticking with it. She has both bottom teeth that if you look carefully in the picture you can see but no new prospects. As you can see she is quite the drooler and accessorizes with a bib most of the time. She continues to be a great eater experimenting with yogurt today. She is a fantastic sleeper we put her to bed at 7:30 and she gets up at 7:30 by that time we are definitely starting to miss her. I'm not sure what her favorite toy is although she still loves her jumperoo and her blankie at bedtime. She has grown and changed so much from the baby we brought home and we look forward to the new changes she makes this month.

She is getting pretty good at using her new sippy cup although it is a little faster than she would like.

Landon can drink out of his sippy cup but struggles to hold it or he just likes the extra attention I'm not sure.

Landon at 7 months is outweighing his sister by a few pounds and I feel every one of them. His favorite toy is a stuffed monkey he got for Christmas that he loves to chew on the ears, tail and hands. He is getting much better at sitting up on his own but still takes a tumble quite often so he needs a standby. He continues to hate tummy time so the crawling position looks far off in the future but I hope once Sienna starts going he'll see how much trouble they could cause together and get on board. He too is a great eater but getting a little more picky by the day. He definitely likes sweeter things better than vegetables and flat out refused to eat his carrots today a first for him. He too sleeps from 7:30 till 7:30 and we can't wait to see his smiling face in the morning. He still has a toothless grin and no prospects but that's okay he's working on the drooling for now. He continues to be a tv addict and Baby Einstein Baby Macdonald is his favorite no matter how many times he watches it and no matter how many times Daddy tries to get him to like something else he loves the farm. He continues to battle eczema especially on his face and whle some days are pretty good a lot of days his little face is so broken out it just looks painful I truly hope he outgrows this soon. He too has made some huge changes from the little baby struggling to breathe to a happy, sweet and opinionated little boy. We just love watching him grow.

For Christmas Santa brought Sienna this little pink purse with accessories and she and Landon were playing with it the other day. Tanner says I shouldn't let him play with it because he always goes for the lipstick but I think it's cute. She plays cars with him and he plays dress up with her.

Sienna likes the purse too but is always way more interested in the money, that's my girl!

Sometimes after I change them I put them in a crib together to play so I can pick up for a few minutes and today they were giggling at eachother and having such a great time I had to snap a pic

Playdate with Carlee

Carlee and Ainslee came over the other day while Clint and Tanner went to the Uof I game and we had lots of fun playing.
Carlee and Sienna playing on the floor. Well maybe they didn't really play together as much as they sat by eachother but without crying.

Carlee, she is just so cute she is walking everywhere and into everything she helped us realize that we really need to start working on our babyproofing NOW!

Reading books, Landon was there too but was much more content to jump in the jumperoo.

Playing with Daddy

As many of you know Tanner works long hours everyday and doesn't have nearly as much time to spend playing with the twins as he would like so on Sunday when he came home early I had to grab the camera and take some pictures. They had so much fun they didn't even notice it was past their dinnertime and weren't even cranky.
Get him Sienna! She just loves to chew on him or his sleeves and since she has teeth now is much more vocal about protesting.
