24 week update

We had our 24 week appointment this week and everything looks great. Both babies were breech this time which I already expected and very active but cooperative with the u/s tech. I can't believe how much chubbier they look in the u/s pictures than just a few weeks ago.

First Teddy Bears

We have officially made it to 24 weeks which is considered viable. Although we really don't want these babies to be born for many more weeks there is some comfort in knowing that if they were born now modern medicine has the technology to help them survive. We celebrated this special milestone by going to Build-a-Bear and making them their first teddy bears.

22 weeks

We had a quick Dr.'s appt this week and everything looks great. We got a quick peek at the babies. Our little girl (A) was very active as usual, HR 140 and still head down. Our little boy(B) was also very active, HR 136 and breech. We're not too concerned about their position right now but it's fun to see that they still have enough room to flip around. They just get cuter everytime I see them.

20 week ultrasound

This is a picture of both babies heads Baby B is a snuggler and likes to cuddle up under Baby A's chin you can see the thin membrane under her nose that separates them.

Both babies look great and have all the right parts in all the right places (whew!) They both measured the right size for their gestational age and weigh approximately 12 oz. They are becoming more active by the day and we can occassionally see movement on the outside of my belly it is so fun just to watch and feel them move. We are working on getting their room ready and can't wait to see it finished. We do not have names for them yet but we do have a name book and are starting to browse and narrow down our list but I have a feeling they will not have names until they arrive and we see them.
