Gettin Big
The twins are getting so big and we are so proud of them and how well they are sleeping at night. Landon does two good 5 hour stretches now waking up just to eat and get changed and Sienna does two 4-5 hour stretches at night. We are all getting much better sleep and feeling well rested.
I know it's a bad habit but sometimes when I just need a little extra sleep in the morning I cave and but the babies in bed with me this is how I found them the other morning all sprawled out.
Landon practicing sitting up in his boppy leaned against the couch, he is getting quite good at sitting up and holding his head up. What a strong boy!
a new toy
Landon and Sienna have been very awake and alert now in the late morning so we thought they needed something to entertain them a little bit. We just got a gift card to Target (thanks Uncle Pat and Aunt Joan) and thought we would try this baby einstein play mat. It has tons of stuff included with it including lights and sounds and lots of toys that detatch and can be used in other places. They have been using it to practice tummy time as well and really seem to like it.

Just a few more pics
Growing like weeds
Here are some updated pictures of the babies. They are getting so big Landon especially he has the cutest little rolls all over his arms and legs and the chubbiest cheeks. He is also getting heavy, well at least compared to petite Sienna.
Sienna sporting her bow even with her jammies, her friend Carlee taught her that it is always important to look cute :)
I'm not sure if I mentioned it before but Sienna has the most adorable birthmark. It is a bright red heart shaped birthmark on the left side of her tush. Her doctor called it an angel kiss and said it is likely to stay like that. Everyone says now she won't have to go and get a tattoo, I hope they're right. I hope it stays but I had something similar when I was little and it faded but mine was nowhere near as cute as hers.
Grandma Mayne has been trying to convince Sienna to go to college at her school in Texas and has been teaching her the hook'em horns sign. Sienna has gotten quite good at it but of course I think Texas is way too far away and am encouraging her to go to my school instead.

1 Month old
I know every parent says this but I can't believe how fast they are growing and that they are already a month old. We went in for their 1 month check up and they are both growing like crazy. Sienna weighed 6 lbs 8 oz (3rd percentile) and was 20 1/2 inches long (25th-50th percentile) and her head circumference was 13 1/2 inches (3rd-10th percentile). Landon weighed 7 lbs 6 oz (5th percentile) and was also 20 1/2 inches long (10th-25th percentile) and his head circumference was 14 inches (10th percentile). They are having no problems and don't have to go back to the doctor for a whole month, yeah.
Landon snoozing in the boppy.
Family fun
I know I haven't been very good about updating this last week but I have had a good excuse, we have had my cousins in from out of town and have been having way too much fun to have any time to sit home on the computer.
Josh lovin on Landon. He's so funny he comes up to us and says "I want to hold the boy" never Landon just "he boy":)
4th of July fireworks
After a fun day at the park for the car show we went back to my parents house for a BBQ and fireworks.
Tanner and Mackenzie having fun with sparklers.

Mackenzie, Tanner and Todd had so much fun with the fireworks I think we will have to get some more so we can have more tank fights.

4th of July car show
We had a great time on the 4th of July. We started the day by going to the annual car show in the park and as you can see the guys did well each taking home an award.

Sienna in her adorable 4th of July outfit. She had 3 but didn't have any explosions that day so she only got to wear the one (darn it)!
Somehow I don't have a close up of Landon in his. I'll have to keep working on keeping things even with these twins :)
