9 month pictures

We had Ashlee take the twins 9 month pictures last week and I am so excited to have them back. We lucked out and had beautiful weather and happy babies. Sienna loved her dress and kept patting it and looking at her pretty shoes and frilly socks. I hope she stays a girlie girl. Landon on the other hand seemed less than thrilled to be so dressed up and finally looked more comfortable once I got his baseball cap out.

My pretty girl
My handsome guy.

It is so hard to get a good picture of them together but this is my favorite. I love how he just rests his little hands on his lap.

Standing on the bridge was an adventure. Sienna is a little daredevil and would not keep both hands on the railing and did take a little fall trying to let go with both hands but when she is determined to do things her way it is hard to convince her so here she is with one hand on the rail. She looks so grown up.

I was shocked that Landon was willing to stand at all since when I first put his shoes on and tried to get him to stand he refused to put any weight on his feet and stuck his legs straight out and kept them that way. He doesn't look to sure about the idea but I am so happy to have a picture of him standing on his own. He looks like a real big boy.

Grandpa's Hot Rod

My dad has been working on this car for almost 10 years and it is now on the road. He has completely redone this car and put a ton of work into it but I think it is worth it. On Saturday he took it out for it's maiden voyage and we met him and my mom, Tanner and his parents and his aunt and uncle for lunch. We had a great time and the twins can't wait till they get a ride in Grandpa's cool car.

Trying to keep things even in the picture department

So while Sienna is on the move doing all sorts of exciting new things for the moment Landon is quite content to just practice his sitting and rolling so I am trying to still capture some cute pictures of him. Here he is with a wild hairdo after his nap enjoying an early lunch with Grandma.

Mr. Handsome just chillin
He still loves his mixing bowl and gets really excited when I spin a ball on top and then he gets to knock it off.

Sienna's new tricks

Once she got moving she really got moving. She has gone from learning to crawl to learning to walk behind her cart on her own in a few days. Boy are we in trouble. She has learned to crawl over to the couch pull herself up and cruise along the couch. She can crawl all over the living room and is venturing down the halls and is into everything. She is trying to pull herself up using her shopping cart but it not too stable so I help her stand and then she takes little baby steps all over the living room. She also enjoys walking holding my hands and is even starting to walk with just one hand. She is turning into such a big girl now.
My little shopping buddy.

She still loves to help with laundry. Well she loves to take the clothes I've just folded and throw them all over the living room and yesterday she entertained herself by pulling up and cruising along the basket, good thing the clothes were heavy enough to keep it on the ground.

She had her first taste of pickle yesterday and really loved it. She kept making me nervous that she would choke on it but when I took it away she cried so I had to keep giving her new pieces that weren't so mangled.

New Pics

Landon loves these little toy balls we got them for Christmas and is getting quite good at throwing them and rolling them across the floor to you he is very coordinated and works hard at getting it just right.
Happy boy
Miss Hollywood. When we went to Boise the other day I felt bad because the sun was in their eyes and seemed to be bothering her so when I saw these cute shades at the store I had to get them. They are a little too big and of course she won't keep them on but they look cute. She was in the car wash when I took this picture and needed a distraction from the loud noise.
She loves to drive already! Last Sunday we took them to their first Roadster Show and when we pulled in the parking lot Landon was still sleeping so she got to come up front and play with Daddy. She just stands on his lap and we move the wheel from side to side and she just laughs and squeels it is so cute. She even beeps the horn at random strangers (not so cute to them). We had a great time at the show I just regret not getting pictures of them with their favorite cars. After the show we went to Good Wood BBQ, one of their favorite restraunts, and they were so good and such great eaters.
Sienna just loves this pink cell phone. It says hello and she is getting good at putting it up to her ear. I can't wait for her to say hi back.

1st St. Patrick's Day

So St. Patrick's Day has always been celebrated in my family and for me it is all about the food. My mom goes all out making the traditional St. Patrick's Day dinner of corned beef, cabbage, potatoes and carrots and it is delicious. I have been looking forward to introducing the tradition to the twins and even though Tanner is not a fan I'm determined that they will be. We showed up for lunch about one o'clock wearing our green of course. My Aunt Sally sent these adorable kiss me I'm Irish shirts that I couldn't wait for them to wear. We sat down and they loved the corned beef, potatoes and carrots we didn't try the cabbage this year maybe next time. I knew they were Irish babies at heart.

Sienna is actually hanging upside down in this picture but it was so cute that I had to flip it so we could see it better. She loves to show off those teeth.
My mom got them this green ball for St. Patrick's Day and Landon especially loved it he enjoyed bouncing it and throwing it he was so excited I just wasn't fast enough with the camera to get a good picture.

Looking cute in their t-shirts. I'd kiss them even if they weren't Irish

15 weeks

Just a quick update on the pregnancy. I am now 15 weeks I had a doctors appointment on Tuesday and everything seemed fine. No more bleeding for a few weeks now. It is so strange to go to the doctor and not have an ultrasound. With the twins they did one at every appointment and this was the first one with this baby that they didn't. I have to admit when she put the ultrasound jelly on my belly and I didn't see an ultrasound machine I was wondering what she was doing and then she brought out the doppler to listen to the heartbeat. They only tried that once with the twins just for fun and were only able to find one baby so they always did the scan. It was fun to hear the heartbeat but I definitely missed seeing the little peanut bouncing around. Oh well maybe we'll get a quick peak at work this weekend. My next appointment is in the beginning of April and they will do the big 20 week ultrasound anatomy scan. Tanner is still hoping to find out the gender but I am holding strong. I just know if I knew I wouldn't be able to stop myself from going shopping, and this baby really needs nothing but diappers.

Milestones

The babies have been changing like crazy over the last few weeks. They both say Mama now but Landon was first of course he always said it to Tanner in the morning so we're not sure what that was about. Sienna has really gotten good at it in the last few days. I'm not sure if they understand what it means yet but it is sure nice to hear. I found Sienna sitting up in her crib on her own a few days ago. A few days before that I turned my back for one second to help Landon and when I looked back she had pulled herself to a standing position next to her toy bin and was quite proud of herself. A few days ago she took her first few strides crawling and now she is on the move. Yesterday she was quite intrigued by my computer and crawled across the living room to unplug it and type away. It is so fun to see the accomplishments she is making. Landon is not crawling yet but he is rolling all over the place and I keep thinking anyday he too will crawl. He doesn't get into a crawling position but if he is sitting and he sees something he wants he will just lunge towards it, he has real motivation to move when he wants a toy or food. Speaking of food they continue to be adventurous eaters and are so much fun to take out now. My mom and I took them to Johnny Carinos last week and they enjoyed their bread, pasta and chicken. We went to Costa Vida a few days ago and they loved their tortillas and rice. They sure make a mess which I feel awful about but they have a lot of fun.

Swinging

Since we've actually had some nice weather lately I decided to take the twins out and try out their new swing last weekend. They both seemed to like it but Sienna refused to look up at me because of the sun in her eyes. We need to get them both some shades.
Landon really seemed to like the swing even giggling at times

Trying new things

So I decided to give the twins spoons to hold while we are feeding them, they love the idea and believe it or not make less of a mess than when they don't. I put a bite in their mouth and then they follow with their spoon. It is so cute and they are so proud of themselves
First food fight eating pasta and throwing it at eachother
Like I said this is an improvement in cleanliness, see Sienna has to follow every bite with her thumb and then it runs down her arm so this is better
Yes she finally has enough hair for little bows. I tried it the other night after her bath and she looked so cute I had to take a picture. She even left them in until Tanner got home and got to see her all dolled up.

Okay so the real story, after she let me put them in her hair I was so excited that they looked good and that she left them alone, that I ran her (buck naked) through the house to find the camera and sat her on the counter in the kitchen for a picture. What a trooper she just looked around for some cheerios to try to much on. I now have to go shopping for some matching bows cause all of hers are different colors.
